Phospholipase

Phospholipases are major digestive enzymes that hydrolyzes phospholipids into fatty acids. They play a critical role in most physiological processes including the generation of signaling lipid, membrane homeostasis, formation of bioactive molecules in cell regulation, and digestion of nutrients.
