Approximately 7% -9% of the global population suffers from autoimmune diseases. World-wide drug sales for the treatment of autoimmune diseases were about $55.2 billion in 2019 and are predicted to reach $152.2 billion by 2025. Better animal models can enable better and faster preclinical research and development into new potential treatments for autoimmune diseases.
In this webinar, we will share with you:
- Mechanisms of human autoimmunity
- Mouse models for the study of autoimmune diseases
- Evaluation of drug efficacy and safety in autoimmune diseases using humanized mouse models
